As a health and wellness coach we are an addition to your health care team (such as a family doctor or GP, specialist, physio, dietitian, psychologist etc.), not a substitute. We work alongside the medical experts already in your life to help you achieve better health and wellbeing.
Health and wellness coaching is not prescriptive in that you’re not told what to do. You are best placed to design and describe what your best life looks and feels like. Not sure what that is? Coaching can help you to do this too!
Once you’ve got the vision of where you want to go, coaching can support you to identify behaviours and actions that will move you towards it. Together we can track progress and work through the obstacles and challenges that often come up when we’re making changes. All this will occur in a safe and private environment. Remember, if you will change, everything will change for you.
